Michael Gollings was born in the north-east of England and educated at Kingston University.
Prior to establishing his own practice Michael was an associate at Lynch Architects (Young Architects of the Year 2005/6). During this time he was the project architect for a number of schemes for Land Securities as part of a £2 billion master plan.
Michael also worked for Jamie Fobert Architects and was the project architect for The Urban Retreat in Harrods. He previously spent several years working for an architect/ developer company where he gained significant knowledge of the planning process and development in general. During this time he worked on a number of mixed use housing association projects and private ‘one off’ houses.
Michael has taught and run an architecture studio at Kingston University and been a visiting critic at various London schools. He sits on the London Borough of Harrow’s Conservation Area Advisory Committee.
